Who we work with

Many of the homes we staff are second or third residences, where the owners are away for weeks at a time and need staff who can handle the property on their own. Others are year-round family homes, working ranches and seasonal estates.

The people we place are entrusted with your home, your privacy and the rhythms of your family life, so we screen every candidate before you meet them. We would rather present two exceptional candidates than ten mediocre ones.

Interviewing candidates

Our network provides access to the country’s most highly qualified and discreet household professionals. Most searches place in 2–3 months; specialized roles can take up to 6.

Home trial

Where it fits the role, we recommend a 2–5 day in-home trial before you make an offer.

Hiring and replacement

For long-term placements, if the person resigns or you part ways without cause within 30 days, we search for one replacement candidate at no additional placement fee.

Fees. A $500 engagement fee starts your search and is credited toward your placement fee. Long-term placements are 15% of the candidate’s agreed yearly pay; short-term placements are 25% of the agreed pay for the assignment. Read our full terms.

Our candidate standards

Every professional we represent has:

  • At least three years of full-time experience in a private household

  • Three verifiable professional references

  • A clean background check and driving record

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • A proven history of professionalism and discretion with past families
